I had the opportunity to cover a very special birthday party last month. A lovely client of mine, Rima Zahran, co-partner of the the local design house Dinz, contacted me about her son Omar's first birthday party. Instead of the usual family gathering, cake smash, kids games, pool parties, and all that shebang, Rima proposed putting together a party for a group of thirty to forty orphan children instead. She booked out Fairytales, a lovely indoor play area, and organized a fun-packed afternoon from food, to games, to gifts and much more. You could see in their eyes how these children were having the time of their life! And how all this fun was rubbing off on everyone at Fairytales! I'm always humbled and encouraged by the incredible positivity that children radiate, and I left that party on an unbelievable high. Of course there are hundreds of photos that I can share with you, but here is just a sneak peak at the beautiful decoration and the aftermath of all the fun!
