What I provide as your Birth Doula
Think of me as your birth coach and labor companion. My role is to support you during labor, ensuring you feel safe, informed, and empowered throughout the process. I provide emotional support, physical comfort, and guidance to help you make confident decisions at every stage. Our relationship begins the minute you reach out to get in touch with me. I offer an in-person initial complimentary consultation with no obligation to commit. Pick your favorite coffee shop and I will meet you there! If you prefer for this initial meeting to be virtual, we can also do that. During our time together we’ll get to know each other, we can go over your pregnancy and desires for the birth, go over any previous experiences, and you may ask me any questions you have. After our meeting, I ask that you take a couple of days to think about if you would like to move forward, and if you find you have a full body “YES” then I will send you a copy of my contract to review. A 50% deposit is requested in order to book your due date on my calendar, with the remainder being due 4 weeks before your due date. I go on call for you 24/7 from week 38 to week 42. During this time, you have unlimited access to me through text, phone and email to address any questions or concerns you have.
As part of your doula package, you will be offered two prenatal sessions and one postpartum visit (one week after the birth)
First prenatal session we will go over your birth plan, concerns, priorities and preferences. We will also go over your plans for the first 6-8 weeks postpartum.
Second prenatal session will be a mini childbirth education class, where we will practice preferred comfort measures and labor positions, and how your partner can be a supportive participant (if you wish) during your labor.
All my doula packages come inclusive of 10 professionally captured and edited photos. As a birth photographer, it brings me so much joy to photograph birth, and I feel this is a natural extension of my services. If you would like to upgrade to a full photography/videography package, then that is also possible, and I am happy to discuss this further.

The day you go into labor, I request that you contact me as early as you can, even if you’re not sure that you are in labor for sure. This allows me to plan ahead to ensure that I do not miss your birth. Early labor support can vary depending on your needs, and will most likely consist of texts/FaceTime. As you near active labor, I will physically join you and will continue to support you, as needed, up till about 1-2 hours after the birth of your baby. Once your baby is born, I can assist you in establishing breastfeeding, after which I will excuse myself so you can revel in the novelty of your brand new baby.
I use a sliding scale price model to make birth doula services as accessible as possible. I believe strongly that doula services should be available to anyone who needs them, and therefore I try to eliminate financial barriers as much as possible. The Green Bottle system is an honor system based on trust and truthfulness.
**Basic needs include food, housing, and transportation.
